Where it all begins.
In 2014, by an absolute chance, i found out about a man called Ido Portal. This event turned my life upside down and i could not be more grateful.
My name is Anna. I was born and raised in Russia, and since childhood i was involved in an array of activities, both physical and artsy. At some point i took ballroom dancing, and also classes of macrame and ceramics, amongst other things. So i did not really ever sit still, but i definitely did not have a relationship with my physicality that i have now.
I had a lot of ups and downs, struggled through drug and alcohol addiction in my youth, and end up leaving my home country for a better future somewhere else. I ended up landing in Barcelona, Spain, and this is the place i call home today.
I have been studying with Ido Portal for almost 11 years, and i continue to do so at the moment you are reading this text. In 2017 I have opened a physical center here in Barcelona where i teach people to find a path to themselves through physical practice. The space have welcomed hundreds of students over the years and me and my team continue reshaping our understanding of movement every day. We invite everyone who is interested to embark on this journey with us. We don´t teach movement to improve people, we teach movement to help them remember who they are.
